Another blessing today.
I called the plastic surgeon this morning and I have an appointment Thur. May 25th at 1:00 with Dr. Baker who Dr. Mindy Haws suggested Sat. when I talked with her. Dr. Baker is in Denver!!
Dr. Baker has a recommended surgeon, Dr. Young that he works with. So I cancelled the appointment I did have with a surgeon at the U.of Co. tomorrow.
Now what's the chance I can see Dr. Young the same day as Dr. Baker so we don't have to make two trips down the mountain to Denver......slim....first opening they had was Monday May 30th.
After much discussion.....another prayer answered....I can see him the same day...Thur. at 4 p.m.....
Who can explain the blessings!!
Now the prayer request will be for them to have schedules open for my surgery in the next couple of weeks!!
I'll be back on line Thur. night late or Fri. after seeing them both.

Aunt Donna,
I just read your blog and want you to know that we are praying for you, along with members of First Baptist McKinney Texas.
I have shared often that I am blessed with a rich Christian heritage, and I praise God that I can claim you as my Aunt and a strong pillar of that heritage. Your faith is truly a blessing to your family.
I have been studying God's sovereignty this past week. I praise God that "We know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose (Rom. 8:28). I was especially inspired by words from Corrie ten Boom's siter, Betsie, a victim of Ravensbruck concentration camp. She described God's sovereignty in a way that changed Corrie forever. She said "No pit is so deep that He is not deeper still." Wow! No pit is so deep that He is not deeper still. What peace there is in Him, knowing that He is with us no matter the circumstance, no matter the depth of our trials. He is our Provider, our Comforter and our Sustainer. What peace to know that He is in control!

Hi Donna,
I spoke with Michele yesterday, and she shared your diagnosis with me. I know it is very scary for her, and really hard to say "My Mom" and "Breast Cancer" in the same sentence. I can't imagine how she must be feeling, but am certain that her faith, and yours, will help all of you through this chapter of your life. In all I have read, it is evident that you are getting excellent care, and they have caught it early. I have added your name to St. Mary's (in Marshall) prayer list. Your outlook is amazing.
