Mom enjoyed eating her first real meal in a couple of days! She has walked 3 different times and seemed to have a short, but restful nap. Our concern right now is that she has developed a temperature of 101.3 and when the nurse listened to her lungs, Aunt Linda asked if they were clear and he said no----there is some "crud" in the lungs.
Please pray for the lungs to clear and her temperature to go down. Her breathing treatments and walking will improve this situation, so she is pushing hard to do her part.
Overall she is doing much better than when we arrived at the hospital this morning. We will update you in the morning.
Keep on praying!

Teresa......thank you for keeping us updated on your mom's condition
throughout the day as we pray fervently for healing without complications. May God give each of you a special touch from His divine hand this day. Deanna
Teresa,
We want you to know we love you and your family. May our God continue to bless you and your family on this journey. His timing is ALWAYS perfect!
Love,
Laurie
We are glad to hear that Donna is doing so well and hope her temperature returns to normal and her lungs clear quickly so she can return home and begin a speedy recovery. We appreciate getting the updates on her progress this way, as it allows us to keep up with her progress without having to bother family members who are undoubtedly busy caring for her.

Girls, tell your mother hello from all of the Mallow/Hessling family. We stayed at Idlewilde 6/5-6/9 and we all fell in love with Donna! She told us about this blog, and I just got on for the first time. I've been keeping her in my prayers since we left, and we all remembered her today at church. Keep up that walking and breathing treatments, Donna!
